OZ PARK 2021 BURLING CHICAGO, ILThe Dispelling Myths 5K is an annual run to commemorate I'm a Black Woman Who's anniversary. This event is geared to Black women either beginning their fitness journey or a fitness journey enthusiast! The goal is to dispel the myths between Black women and physical fitness by showing the world that Black women run. Race highlights include:
- Running Guide for both new and avid runners curated by Personal Trainer, Fitness Runner Lee
- Themed tech shirts
- Finisher medal
- Finisher snacks
- Amazing like-minded women
- Gorgeous course through Lincoln Park

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Early Bird Registration
- Before June 23rd: $40
Regular Registration
- After June 24th: $50
Late Registration
- After August 4th: $60
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
I'm a Black Woman Who needs about 10 volunteers ages 16 and older to make this event successful! Volunteer positions include Packet Pick-Up, Finish Line, Course, Water Stations, and more. Volunteers will receive a Race Day shirt. This is a great opportunity for individuals or volunteer groups!
